Eligibility
- Open to African graduates;
- Be aged 16 to 35 and with an inspiring career journey or story to share.
Judging Criteria
- Passion & Inspiration: Demonstrated enthusiasm for their projects and skills, ability to inspire others, and how TVET has empowered them.
- Aspirations and Ambitions: Clear articulation of future vocational goals and ambitions, and identification of necessary support to achieve them.
- Potential for Impact: Demonstrated impact on local, national, or continental economic growth, improving community living conditions, promoting social inclusion, and enhancing livelihoods.
- Innovation: Innovative application of vocational skills to address challenges or introduce new solutions.
Benefits
- Winners will receive USD 1,500, which can be used to enhance their skills, advance their careers, or support their entrepreneurial ventures. In your submission, tell us how you plan to use the prize money and how it will help you achieve your ambitions, business goals, or career milestones.
- Additionally, some of the winners may earn the opportunity to attend WorldSkills Africa 2025, where they can showcase their career progress and demonstrate how this prize has boosted their professional growth.
- But that’s not all! Inspiring stories from participants—whether they are final winners or not—may be featured on the ASPYEE platforms, AUDA-NEPAD’s and Humana People to People’s social media channels as well as on the Africa Skills Revolution final report. Share your journey and inspire peers, parents, policymakers, and the broader society. Together, they can change perceptions about TVET and spark a movement.
