Access Bank has partnered with the Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR), a prominent non-profit focused on impactful health interventions across Africa. The collaboration targets the financing hurdles confronting over 200,000 health SMEs in Nigeria.
The initiative aims to strengthen health SMEs by making them investment-ready through technical support services such as entrepreneurship training, financial management, and business development. This partnership, highlighted at the MoU signing event in Abuja, underscores the critical role of funding in Nigeria’s healthcare system. Dr. Uchenna Igbokwe, CEO of SCIDaR, emphasized the timely nature of the partnership aligning with the government’s healthcare vision, potentially bolstering health value chains and Nigeria’s GDP.
