Welcome to the Defense Innovation Challenge, a premier event organized as part of the Africa Defense Industries Conference. This challenge seeks to identify and promote groundbreaking innovations in the defense sector across Africa.
The Inaugural Africa Defense Industries Conference will take place alongside the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of the Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) from 14th-15th August 2024, at the Shehu Musa Yar`Adua Centre, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with the theme: “DICON @60: Future Frontiers in Africa’s Defense Technology”.
The 2-day event is designed to be the largest gathering of defense industry stakeholders in Nigeria and Africa, attracting over 3,000 local and international participants, from over 30 countries. The event will focus on defence exhibitions, investment opportunities, industrial partnerships, and future developments in the African Defence Industries.
It will also host a Defense Innovation Challenge targeted at harnessing young startups that can build solutions within the defense industries space.
We invite Innovators, Startups, and Established Companies to submit their most promising defense-related technologies and solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your innovations to key industry stakeholders, gain valuable exposure, and potentially secure funding and partnerships.
