This is an international program open to founders of startups, providing guidance on how to develop, operate, and expand profitable tech businesses. The initiative is part of TRMNL4, powered by Genesis.
During the StartUp Academy, founders are encouraged to:
- Focus solely on the needs of their business
- Navigate their startup journey with the support of a trusted mentor
- Engage their initial team members in program activities
- Present their ideas to potential investors and establish connections
- Seek advice from advisors tailored to their specific challenges
- Access a comprehensive content library around the clock
Eligibility for participation:
The program primarily targets tech-driven software startups at Pre-Seed to Seed stages. It welcomes software startups, both B2C and B2B, operating in various domains such as FinTech, EdTech, Mobility, among others.
Program components include:
- Marketing & Strategy: Covering global go-to-market strategies, market research tools, pivot strategies, essential startup survival metrics, and focuses for Seed stage founders.
- Financial Benchmarks: Addressing unit economy frameworks, due diligence, company valuation, and forming fundraising rounds.
- Marketing Tools & Sales Hacks: Offering insights into paid user acquisition, virality, influencer strategies, CMO operations, budgeting, and B2B sales management, including corporate negotiations.
- People & Number Management: Providing guidance on revenue formula-driven operations, engaging co-founders in target markets, implementing hiring models to recruit the right team members, and managing data-driven product development.
- Data-driven Product: Exploring engagement hacks for retention growth, customer development strategies, growth model frameworks, and product analytics with relevant metrics.
- Tech Lifestyle: Identifying generative AI business opportunities, managing CTO operations in seed+ stages, exploring non-tech founder methods for building solutions, and optimizing development resources.
- Pitch Hard Knocks: Participants pitch their startups every two weeks and receive feedback on their pitch decks from various stakeholders. The program culminates in Pitch Day, where participants can meet investors from around the world.
