The Orange Corners acceleration program in Ghana, an initiative spearheaded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is executed in collaboration with GrowthAfrica, a leading business accelerator in Africa. The program also enjoys partnerships with Fidelity Bank, Emergent Payments, Friesland Campina, Vivo Energy Ghana, Meridian Port Services (MPS), Koudijs, Peoples Pension Trust, and Cargill.
Designed to span over six months, the Orange Corners Ghana initiative comprises a series of five workshops, each spanning three days and spaced four weeks apart. Additionally, it involves post-acceleration in-business visits over a duration of 9-12 months, aimed at facilitating the development and execution of growth plans. Participants also benefit from masterclasses and personalized coaching sessions. Moreover, the program facilitates connections between innovative entrepreneurs and the private sector, offering avenues for accessing finance, notably through the Orange Corners Innovation Fund.
Benefits:
- Successful applicants to the acceleration program will undergo a six-month acceleration process, followed by up to 12 months of post-acceleration catalytic support with an assigned growth catalyst.
- Participants will have the opportunity to access funding from the Orange Corners Innovation Fund and other funding sources from partners. They will also benefit from facilitated networking, mentorship, and coaching sessions from industry professionals.

The Orange Corners program hosts two cohorts annually. In 2024, it will be recruiting Cohorts 9 and 10.
Key dates for cohort 9 are as follows:
Application period: March 22, 2024 – April 28, 2024
Shortlisting and selection: April 2024 to May 2024
Contracting and onboarding: June 2024
Cohort 9 officially commences: July 10, 2024
