Petralon Energy Limited has introduced its Future Leaders Programme (FLP) to foster the growth of emerging talent in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), representing a significant step in the company’s efforts to promote educational excellence and sustainable development within Africa’s energy sector. This initiative coincides with the celebration of Petralon’s 10th anniversary.
The FLP is designed to cultivate local talent in the energy industry, with a particular focus on engineering and geology. It will provide selected students with full financial support throughout their academic journey, alongside valuable internship opportunities that offer hands-on, industry-specific experience.
Outstanding students have been selected from six leading Nigerian universities, including the University of Port Harcourt, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, University of Benin, University of Uyo, University of Ibadan, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Adeola Akinrinmade, Petralon’s Chief Financial Officer, remarked, “The Future Leaders Programme reflects Petralon’s firm dedication to talent development and long-term growth. By investing in education and offering practical experience, we are nurturing the next generation of innovators poised to transform Nigeria’s energy sector.”
