The ECOWAS Centre for Youth and Sports Development, with financial and technical backing from AUDA-NEPAD, is officially accepting applications for the 2026 EBIP. Operating under the broader ECOWAS Youth and Women’s Entrepreneurship Programme (EYWEP), this initiative is designed to guide young innovators in transforming their pre-launch concepts into viable, sustainable enterprises.

Who Should Apply?

To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Location: Must be a resident or national of Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, or Sierra Leone.
  • Business Stage: Must possess an innovative business idea, prototype, or project currently in the pre-launch phase.

Program Benefits

Selected entrepreneurs will be equipped with the tools needed to launch and scale their businesses. Offerings include:

  • Comprehensive business incubation and entrepreneurship training.
  • Workshops dedicated to project maturation.
  • One-on-one professional coaching and mentoring.
