AU CIEFFA 2026 Digital Skills & Leadership Training for Young Africans

The African Union (AU) in collaboration with the AGA-APSA Secretariat and ImpactHER via the AU International Centre for Girls’ and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA) is offering a fully funded, online capacity-building program for 2026.

This program aims to bridge the gender gap in ICT, foster youth leadership, and boost digital skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy across the continent.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  1. Nationality & Age: Must be an African citizen aged 18 to 35 at the time of application.
  2. Background & Experience:
  3. Active involvement in youth-led or youth-focused organizations dedicated to democratic governance, elections, peace and security, youth participation, or leadership.
  4. Representatives from national institutions, agencies, or civil society groups working in human rights or governance.
  5. Commitment:
  6. Willingness to attend all online sessions throughout the program duration.
  7. Commitment to replicating or step-down training within local communities or organizations after completion.
  8. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
