The Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation (BIF) has officially opened applications for its flagship SEEDINVEST Acceleration Program 2026. Designed specifically for Nigerian nano, micro, and small businesses, this initiative provides selected entrepreneurs with the training, advisory services, and equipment needed to build sustainable and scalable enterprises.

Important Note: This program awards asset grants (business equipment and machinery) rather than cash grants, directly supporting operational growth and productivity.

Program Benefits

  • Business Registration: Must own a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Operational History: The business must have been active for at least one year.
  • Financials & Taxes: Must possess a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and a corporate bank account with a commercial bank.
  • Verification: Must have a verifiable physical business address and relevant product certifications (if applicable).
  • Sector: The program is sector-agnostic; businesses from all industries are eligible to apply.

Program Structure & Timeline

The initiative features a 6-week online acceleration program consisting of:

  • Virtual masterclasses and business development training
  • Dedicated mentorship and advisory sessions
  • Final assessment for the selection of asset grant beneficiaries
  • Application Deadline: July 24, 2026 (or until the application window closes). Early application is highly encouraged.
