Running from November 2-5, 2026, the four-day hybrid summit serves as Africa's flagship platform for open dialogue on internet policy, digital rights, and tech infrastructure. Organized by the Africa IGF Secretariat, this year's forum aims to address pressing challenges while unlocking the vast economic potential of the continent's digital economy.

Why AfIGF Matters Now

With Africa’s internet economy projected to contribute hundreds of billions to the continent's GDP over the coming decade, equitable access, security, and governance have shifted from technical discussions to national economic priorities. "The future of Africa's digital economy depends on inclusive governance. AfIGF provides the unique platform where grassroot youth perspectives, legislative power, and tech industry expertise intersect to build a secure, trusted digital ecosystem for all."
