The FAO Global AgriInno Challenge 2026 is one of the leading global platforms supporting breakthrough ideas in agritech, food systems innovation, and climate resilience. Organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in partnership with Zhejiang University and Pinduoduo, the programme is designed to spotlight innovators transforming agrifood systems through technology and sustainability-focused solutions.

What Selected Participants Will Receive

Eligibility Criteria

The programme is open to:

  • Agritech startups
  • Researchers and innovators
  • Youth-led innovation teams
  • Early-stage enterprises

Applicants are generally expected to:

  • Have less than five years of operation
  • Generate under USD 1 million in annual turnover
  • Possess technology-based solutions
  • Demonstrate pilot-stage or MVP implementation
  • Include at least one team member under 35 years old

The organisers strongly encourage applications from women-led startups and female agripreneurs.
