Stakeholders in Nigeria’s employment ecosystem have called for coordinated action to tackle youth unemployment and expand access to decent jobs.
The call was made at the inaugural Partners’ Convening hosted by Jobberman Nigeria in Lagos under the Young Africa Works initiative with the Mastercard Foundation. The event brought together stakeholders from government, private sector, and development organisations to discuss scalable solutions for youth employment.
Participants emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between employers, training institutions, and policymakers, noting that fragmented efforts limit impact. They also highlighted the importance of expanding skills development and creating more inclusive employment pathways.
