President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is accelerating efforts to eliminate estimated billing across Nigeria. To bridge the massive 7 million metering gap over the next two years, the government is launching the Presidential Metering Initiative – Meter Installer Training Programme (Power Force) to train and deploy 5,000 new certified installers.
Trainees will receive technical instruction from the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) and professional certification from the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).
