President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is accelerating efforts to eliminate estimated billing across Nigeria. To bridge the massive 7 million metering gap over the next two years, the government is launching the Presidential Metering Initiative – Meter Installer Training Programme (Power Force) to train and deploy 5,000 new certified installers.
Trainees will receive technical instruction from the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) and professional certification from the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).

- Nigerian citizen, aged 18 to 35 years old
- Education:
- Science background with a minimum of SSCE (or equivalent)
- Eligibility Pool:
- Open to the public, NYSC members, and students of Technical/Vocational institutions
- Identity Verification:
- Must provide a valid, accurate NIN (errors result in automatic disqualification)
- Fitness:
- Must be physically and mentally fit for field tasks
