The Pulitzer Center Africa Education Teachers’ Fellowship 2026 is now taking applications from primary and secondary educators across Africa who are ready to transform their classrooms through journalism-based learning.

This six-month hybrid professional development initiative provides educators with the tools, funding, and mentorship needed to bring real-world news literacy and climate awareness directly to their students.

Key Fellowship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Program Commitment: Full participation in all virtual workshops and classroom implementation over the 6-month duration.
  • Institutional Backing: An official support letter from your school leadership.
