Sunbeth Global Concepts Ltd says it is constructing a 70,000-metric-tonne cocoa processing plant and an 80,000-metric-tonne cashew processing facility scheduled for commissioning in March 2027.
The announcement was made by the company’s Managing Director, Olasunkanmi Owoyemi, during the Africa Cocoa Finance and Investment Forum held at the London Stock Exchange.
According to the company, the investment is aimed at strengthening Africa’s agro-processing industry and reducing dependence on raw commodity exports.
Sunbeth stated that the cocoa facility will support Nigeria’s position in the global cocoa market, while the cashew plant will target export opportunities across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Owoyemi explained that the company is also investing in farmer support, financing, logistics, and technology to ensure sustainable supply for the processing plants.
The company currently operates in Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon, with international offices in London, Dubai, and New York.
Industry stakeholders say the expansion reflects growing interest in local agricultural processing as African businesses seek to retain more value within the continent.
