The Deloitte Academy’s Cyber Security Programme 2026

The Deloitte Academy is now accepting applications for its 2026 Cyber Security Programme. This initiative is specifically designed to develop and nurture young talents, equipping them with the necessary skills to tap into emerging opportunities within the Cyber Security and Information Technology sectors.

Please Note: This is a skill development programme and not an employment scheme. It aims to empower young graduates with the technical knowledge required to tackle both current and future digital challenges.

Eligibility & Qualifications

To be considered for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) / Upper Credit.
  • O'Level Results: Minimum of 5 credits in WASSCE/NECO (or equivalent) in one sitting only, which must include Mathematics and English Language.
  • Age: 28 years old or younger at the time of application.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a solid baseline knowledge of IT systems (Operating Systems, Networks, Applications, or Databases).
  • Soft Skills: Ability to think outside the box and learn new concepts independently and quickly.

Added Advantages:

  • Prior knowledge in areas like vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security operations, incident response, or email security.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, NAC, DAM, WAF, NGFW, or UTM.
  • Existing cybersecurity-related certifications.
