Wema Bank Opens Applications for 2026 Bankers-in-Training Programme

Applications are now open for the Wema Bank Bankers-in-Training (Sales) Programme, a specialized entry-level development initiative designed to equip young Nigerian graduates with foundational and advanced skills in sales, relationship management, and banking operations.

This program aims to develop the next generation of financial leaders through a regional training structure covering key locations across Nigeria, including the North, South-South & East, and Southwest (excluding Lagos).

Key Eligibility Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent in any business- or social science-related discipline from an accredited university.
  • O'Level Qualifications: Minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English) in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: Maximum of 26 years old at the time of application.
  • NYSC: Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with a valid discharge certificate.
  • Experience & Skills: 0–2 years of sales/relationship management experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
