United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc is preparing to host the next installment of its business series, reinforcing its dedication to fostering the growth and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) across Africa.
According to a bank statement, this session of the business series, titled “Built to Last: Building Generational Business,” will take place on Thursday at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre, UBA House, Marina, Lagos, with online access available via Zoom.
The event will feature distinguished leaders from various sectors, including Flora Mutahi, Founder/CEO of Melvin Marsh International; Atunyota Ali Baba A, CEO of XQZMOI Television; Tolani Tayo-Osikoya (Chef T), CEO of Diaryofakitchenlover Studio; and prominent photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi. These experts will share their valuable experiences and practical strategies for establishing businesses that endure and thrive through difficult times, the statement highlighted.
Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, emphasized the significance of this business series edition in offering SMEs a chance to learn from seasoned entrepreneurs who have successfully built and maintained their businesses over the years.
“This edition offers SMEs an opportunity to gain insights from experienced entrepreneurs who have sustained their businesses through decades,” Fashola noted. “Their stories and strategies will be incredibly beneficial for any business owner aiming to create a lasting enterprise.”
